Dr Małgorzata Krawczyk

Dr Malgorzata Krawczyk, a general practitioner, registered with the Irish Medical Council since 2007.

Dr Krawczyk graduated from Medical University of Silesia in 1996. She began her medical practice as early as during her studies providing care for the sick in the USA and subsequently, looking after handicapped people in Paris, France.

Between 1996 and 1997 she completed her general practice training in the Internal Medicine Ward, the Department of Surgery, and the Gynaecology Department at the Urban Hospital No. 2 in Sosnowiec, as well as in the Paediatric Ward at Sosnowiec Urban Hospital No. 3. In 1997 Dr Krawczyk obtained the JCPTGP Certificate.

After completing her internship, in 1998 she commenced working as a General Practitioner at both the Urban Hospital No.2 and the Local Outpatient Clinic No. 10 in Sosnowiec. In 2001 Dr Krawczyk completed her specialist training in General Internal Medicine.

Dr Krawczyk began her General Practice in Ireland at Medical Centre in Castlebar. From 2008 until 2010 she worked at Lakeshore Medical Centre in Loughrea and since 2010 she has been working as a General Practitioner at Medicus Medical Centre in Cork, currently MD Clinic in Cork.

In the course of her career Dr Krawczyk has participated in continuing professional education. She has completed Diabetology Course in Katowice, obtained The Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certificate in Cracow, and gained considerable experience with laser treatment for psoriasis and acne, laser hair removal treatment, and dermatological treatment for acne (photodynamic therapy –PDT, dermabrasion treatment and sapphire microdermabrasion). She has also acquired valuable experience of working as a journalist and writing medical articles and interviews for magazines in Cracow and Chicago. She has a special interest in recent medical advances, developments and new treatment interventions, as well as in alternative medicine.

Dr Krawczyk has a good command of foreign languages. She speaks English and Russian fluently, and she can also communicate in French. Outside of work, Dr Krawczyk enjoys travelling, playing tennis and horseback riding. She is keen on theatre and fashion design.
