Dr Ireneusz Brzozowski

Dr. Ireneusz Brzozowski is a graduate of Medical University of Lublin class of 1995. During his studies he showed a growing interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, and became an active member of the student research group. He was a co-author of scientific publications and an attendee of congresses and trainings. After finishing his studies, he began specialty training in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Obstetrics and Pregnancy Pathology Clinic in the Independent Public Central Clinical Hospital no. 1 and continued his studies at the Operative and Oncological Gynaecology Department at Regional Specialist Hospital in Lublin. Years of studies and research resulted not only in Dr. Brzozowski obtaining the title of specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology (first and second degree), but above all else, gaining valuable experience and skills that let him begin independent work in such a difficult and responsible field.

In 1999 Dr. Brzozowski started sharing his time between work as Pregnancy Pathology Clinic assistant and being a doctoral student at Department of Chemistry, and soon also at Department of Biochemistry at University of Lublin.

These years of professional, and scientific experience led to him receiving his Doctor of Medical Science degree in 2009. During this period in his career he also developed interest in metabolic diseases and endocrinopathy during pregnancy. His work as assistant-doctoral student resulted in many scientific publications and participating in medical congresses and summits. Extensive professional and scientific experience opened the door to becoming a Director of Fertility Clinic within the Day Surgery Unit, an office he held from 2002 until 2009. During that time he also gained a lot of knowledge of assisted reproductive technology (In Vitro Fertilization, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, Intra Uterine Insemination) with particular emphasis on endoscopic diagnosis techniques and immunological cases of recurrent miscarriages.

Thanks to consistent development of his professional and medical skills he took up the position of Director of the Department of Gynaecology in Ryki District Hospital, which he was in charge of until 2012.

Currently he is sharing his responsibilities between his work in Ireland and still extensive professional activity in Poland, providing service for patients of prestigious clinics like Luxmed and Medicover.

Dr. Brzozowski is registered with the Irish Medical Council IMC (320082).
